5 ways to combat depression

Does everything around you seem to be dull and depressing? Do you feel a weird hatred towards everyone and everything surrounding you? Well just relax and check out these 5 most important tips:
1. Talk about it to someone you are close to or somebody who knows you quite well. Sharing your thoughts reduces much of the burden. Try and figure out what may be disturbing you.
2. Try to do things which would make you feel good or may be something that you have not done for quite a long time.
3. Remain physically active. This would not allow your mind to be idle and think of being sad and lonely. You may also practice yoga or meditation to relax your mind.
4. Go for a vacation. Hectic monotonous life sets in boredom.
5. If you feel that nothing is helping you then consult a doctor or a counselor.
