<p>Firstly, exercises like wide yawning and the rolling of your eyes are very effective. These little exercises help to relax your facial muscles. Rapid blinking of eyes and changing your focus in different ways can lessen the eye strain. Take a diet that is rich in antioxidants. You can have cabbages, peepers, kale, and berries like blueberries, goji and acai. Carrots help a lot to enhance vision, especially when its juice is blended with spinach, celery, parsley and cucumber.</p>
<p>Try out the herbal remedies. You can either apply them to your eyes or drink them as teas. Applying a mixture of rosewater and lime juice, on your eyes, is highly effective. Genetian roots and extracts of grape seed and pine barks are also useful.</p>

<p>Some foods, which abet the risk of catching cold, are to be avoided completely during the infection. They are watermelon, bananas, papayas and cucumber. Take Vitamin C enriched foods would also help as they reduce the chances of catching cold. Garlic, ginger and onions are termed as healers for ear infections. Then you have mineral oil and olive oil which easily removes ear wax. Too much of deposition of ear wax blocks the passage of air and creates infection.</p>
<p>If you press a warm cloth against the infected ear, it will help to reduce the pain initially.<br />
A mixture of two- three drops of tea tree oil and coconut oil (both blended in equal amount) is very effective for ear infection. Another natural remedy to reduce ear infection is zinc.</p>
