The diet of a diabetic person depends on the stage of diabetes the person is in. In fruits, apples and pomegranates act as insulin for the patient and also detoxify your system. Vegetables do a great work in the field of diabetes. There are some vegetables that are not very popular but are actually good for you if you are suffering from diabetes. Bitter gourd, one such infamous vegetable is a blessing for diabetics.
Non vegetarians, go for poultry and various other river fishes. It is good to check what you eat being a diabetic person but its best to control your temptations towards desserts and sweet serves.
