In the second part we shall look at more fruits and vegetables that help fight toxins in the body

Beetroot

It contains methionine that helps to reduce the cholesterol levels and purify natural water products from the body. It also provides betanin, which can enhance the rate at which the fatty acids can be broken by liver. This process takes the pressure off the organs, thereby allowing it to fight dangerous toxins.

Bran

It is a great detoxicant because of its richness in fibers that help in cleaning the bowel and stimulate its movements, decreasing the time food spends there and so reducing the risk of toxin reabsorption.

Wholegrain cereal are also a good source of antioxidants.

Carrots

It is a high source of alpha and beta carotene and helps to remove heavy metal in the body. Carrots are also helpful in reducing the cholesterol levels in the blood, which in turn, lowers the risk of arterial furring.

Eggs

The so popular eggs contain high levels of lecithin which helps improve fat digestion in the body and also improves the functioning of the liver. Eggs contain a specific detoxifier called cysteine. which is particularly potent against alcohol.

Flax Seeds

They are rich in omega 3 fatty acid and plant fiber. Flax seeds are a natural detoxifier and work as a mild laxative and are a tonic for the kidney.
