Pragmatically speaking, every fruit or vegetable fights toxins in some or the other way, but there are some who do it with a higher degree of effectiveness.
Apple
This doctor’s delight contains lots of Vitamin C and a fair amount of quercitin antioxidant nutrients that help in lowering fat and controlling cholesterol levels.
It is high in a fiber called plantix that has the ability to bind toxins including some drugs and food additives. It is also rich in mineral, amino acids and fatty acids which our body needs for good health and detoxing.
Asparagus
It is also rich in fiber and vitamin C. Being an antioxidant it is also rich in glutathione. It helps in stimulating the kidneys and bowels, thereby increasing the rate at which at toxins leave the body.
Very high in minerals, banana can reduce the intake of heavy metals. It also supplies potassium which in turn helps in controlling the fluid in the body and reducing fluid retention. The more the fluid is retained the more is the toxic elements excreted.
