Ok, ok, enough already Julie Andrews, everyone gets the idea! With Valentine’s Day looming for lovers, and Mum’s Day just around the corner for mothers – there is plenty of reason to gather together for a celebratory feast (just don’t confuse the two, you wouldn’t want your Ma popping around for her gift hamper on St. Val’s Day!)

Did you know that it’s super simple to order your gourmet hampers and tasty treats online? That way you can put your feet up, and rest assured that the order will be delivered to your door on time, and all you have to do is carve your Alderton Ham and spread your caviar onto blini. What? No blini? It doesn’t matter, for simplicity is the finest recipe for sampling caviar. Don’t forget that it’s from Russia with love, so why not accompany it with chilled Champagne or vodka best served when a layer of ice is still coating the bottle. Nastrovye!

A further recommendation from the chef is to save the ham bones when you’re finished carving, as they make the perfect stock for a delicious ham soup. The ham trimmings can also be tucked aside for scrumptious pasta sauces.
