Acid reflux is an extremely common disorder. People all across the globe seem to be suffering from it. Acid reflux is also known as heart burn. The name comes from the burning sensation caused near the heart thanks to excessive acids being produced by your body. Human body produces certain digestive acids in order to break down the food we consume and make it easier for our body to benefit from them. There are times, when the acid produced exceeds the normal level and starts to erode off the inner walls of our intestine.
