Relaxation and sleep for preschoolers

While we emphasize on things like the child brushing his teeth and getting a sip of water before going to sleep, we should also focus on things that can help your child have a sound sleep.

Bed time massage can help your child relax while sleeping. Singing out lullabies to them can also take their stress away. Verbal communication with your kids can be another way to help them forget their worries, calm their mind from the daily happening and thus, make them relax in their bed.

Muscle relaxation technique can also let your child have a feel of your gentle ways of keeping them relaxed. You can also ask your child to lie peacefully in bed with his eyes closed and imagine the description of the story that you would then narrate to him. All these techniques will definitely offer the much needed comfort to your kid.
